Juneau, Alaska 15th May 2005 The protected waters of the Inside Passage, nr Juneau was our first fishing venue, this location is the home to a bountiful population of salmon. We joined the good ship Emma Lynn, with Skipper Mike, ex Vietnam vet, who knew the local water well. |

All the charter boats in Alaska are operated by Coast Guard-licensed captains. Mandatory fishing licenses are required (us$10 cash only) and you have to purchase a king salmon tag, also ( us$10 cash) all these are purchased on board the boat. To the UK you can only have your catch tinned and sent home. |
